qs. auðöfi, n. pl. [‘auðr,’ opes, and ‘of;’ = ofa-fé, q. v.; Lat. opes], opulence, abundance, wealth, riches, in the Grág. freq. = means of subsistence, emoluments, i. 269, 277 (twice), ii. 213, cp.
